How about a positive suicide bomber? Yes, his name is Arie Katzenstein. The first highjacking of an aircraft in Germany 1970 at airport Munich-Riem failed. While the intermediate landing of flight EL Al 435, the transit bus has been attacked with hand grenades. The passenger Arie Katzenstein jumped on one of them and died, but thereby he saved the lives of many others.
The German-Israeli coproduction speaks out of the bomb´s perspective. It is about the one second between pulling the bomb´s trigger and its explosion, a moment of unlimited possibilities. In this moment the bomb decides not to explode. It refuses to perform in accordance to its determination. Is it good for an example? Want can we learn from it?
