The Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin (HZT) is an internationally orientated educational institution, started as a pilot project in the frame of Tanzplan Deutschland. The HZT Berlin is administrated by the Berlin University of Arts and the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst 'Ernst Busch' Berlin in cooperation with TanzRaumBerlin, a network of the independant dance scene. The HZT Berlin provides one Bachelor and two Master study programmes.

Tanzfabrik Berlin has been active in the development of contemporary dance for more than 30 years, coordinating production, research, further education and festivals. Its Kreuzberg headquarters were expanded in 2010 to include the Uferstudios premises. 

Tanzbüro Berlin initiates and supports projects that strengthen and integrate the Berlin dance scene. It offers artists concrete advice and maintains an ongoing dialogue with policy makers.

ada Studio, founded in 2006, moved into Studio 7 at Uferstudios in April 2011. It offers young choreographers and newcomers to the scene in Berlin opportunities to produce and present their work.

Björn Pätz and Björn Frers have handled press and public relations for Uferstudios since the launch of the björn & björn agency in April 2010. They also act as production managers, PR agents and theatrical advisors for various dance, theater and performance projects; they arrange and coordinate touring performances in Germany and abroad; and they provide comprehensive production support, from grant application to opening night and beyond.

In 2008, Uferhallen AG purchased the central workshop on Uferstraße 8-11 and Uferstraße 23 from BVG. As the new owner, the company rents predominantly to artists and offers exhibition space. It entered a lease with Uferstudios GmbH for 25 years and registered the debt with the land registry as requested by the Stiftung Klassenlotterie for its funding of the reconstruction. Uferstudios enjoy the neighbouring fine artists who rented 8 studios on Uferstraße.

Kaffee Pförtner is right across the street from Uferstudios in the entrance area of Uferhallen. During the week, they offer a diverse and cost-effective lunch menu, extraordinary pastry, and they are a partner for the Uferstudio events.
