After a departure into a new world in Guest and a life in a foreign land in Ghost, with Dust, Hyoung-Min Kim and Tommi Zeuggin have arrived in the city. Every city is characterised by its architecture – but the buildings are hardly separable from the people who fill them with life and give them a purpose. The space is formed by them. They live, love and work in it. The dust of the title becomes an allegory for retrospective stories and events that have taken place in currently uninhabited spaces. What remains when a place is left behind, orphaned? For TANZNACHT BERLIN 2012 Hyoung- Min Kim and Tommi Zeuggin show the current state of their work into the archaeology of erstwhile places and allow their stories to become a performance.
Funded by the Governing Mayor of Berlin – Senat's Chancellery – Cultural Affairs and Fonds Darstellende Künste.
