In the workshop we will bring a variety of everyday objects, which many of them can be found on the streets of Berlin (such as metal tubes, destroyed furniture etc), and explore these as musical instruments. We will first explore individually how to “play” our instruments, and then create a musical composition together as a group. With a playful approach towards composition, we will try to squeeze out the musical potentiality of every object.
The workshop is open to children and parents, and to anyone who is curious to experience the simplicity and joy of rhythm and making music together with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
